Acting as General Contractor, BETONOX Construction carried out a comprehensive revitalisation of listed heritage buildings in the centre of Radom.
State Archive Building
The first building is the former State Archive at ul. Rynek 1 together with its outbuilding – both listed structures, carried out under the supervision of the Monument Conservator. The main building has a usable area of approximately 1,237 m² and a volume of approximately 5,550 m³; the outbuilding adds approximately 496 m² and 1,729 m³.
Works included structural reinforcement of foundations and walls with steel structures, waterproofing injections, damp-proofing, replacement of box windows and doors, restoration of external and internal renders, replacement of roofing, and installation of stone and timber floors.
Tenement Houses on ul. Rwańska
The second project involved the change of use and extension of the tenement buildings at ul. Rwańska 2/Rynek 15 and Rwańska 4/Rynek 14/Grodzka 1, adapted for museum, educational, service and office functions – as Phase I of the "Revitalisation of Properties at ul. Rwańska/Rynek in Radom", carried out for the Municipality of Radom.
Total floor area: 6,206 m² (above ground: 5,012 m², underground: 1,194 m²), volume: 12,823.2 m³. The scope of works included construction of a glazed inner courtyard roof, excavation and construction of a basement beneath the courtyard, façade and interior modernisation, attic conversions and foundation strengthening – all executed under strict heritage conservation requirements.
Work Under Heritage Conservation Supervision
All works were carried out in close collaboration with the Monument Conservator, ensuring the historical value of the buildings was preserved while adapting them to contemporary functional standards.
