Acting as General Contractor for Polish State Railways (PKP S.A.), BETONOX Construction carried out the partial demolition of the existing Miechów railway station building and the extension and conversion of the remaining structure.
Functional Zoning
The refurbished building was divided into three functional zones:
- Public zone – spaces dedicated to the station's core passenger function
- Commercial zone – leasable units linked to services and railway operations
- Technical zone – rooms supporting the technical operation of the building
The project forms part of PKP's broad railway infrastructure modernisation programme.
